As Android Developer you will work closely with our iOS developer to ensure that our apps provide a great experience while adhering to standards of the respective platform. Further, you will work with our backend engineers based in Switzerland, giving you the chance to participate in the overall product's direction and vision. We expect outstanding interpersonal skills and that you actively contribute to the company culture.

 

Tasks

  • Conceptualize and build new features for shared mobility systems, driven from the end user's perspective
  • Maintain and scale the current codebase and the processes around it
  • Provide technical support for ElectricFeel customers

Requirements

Required skills/experience/mindset

  • 4+ years professional work experience in software development
  • Deep knowledge of the Android ecosystem, including its SDKs, the look and feel, and the device landscape
  • Proficiency in Kotlin
  • Experience with ReactiveX concepts
  • Experience with Google Play Store deployments
  • Experience with Git and GitHub development flow
  • On top of software design and mobile trends
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Aptitude for picking up new skills quickly when needed

Advantage

  • Experience with internationalization
  • Ability to read an iOS project written in Swift
  • Experience with white label apps, i.e. different builds using the same codebase
  • Knowledge of Ruby on Rails
